Zakat

Zakat is obligatory on every adult Muslim who meets the Nisab threshold: 2.5% of qualifying wealth, given annually. It is distinct from voluntary sadaqah. It is a right the poor hold over your wealth.

We treat your Zakat as an amanah. It goes to the category you specify, or to whoever needs it most, and it is never absorbed into running costs.

Zakat purifies wealth from greed, redistributes it toward those enduring hardship, and binds a society together across the gap between rich and poor.
